The Flyers practiced Thursday morning at TD Garden in preparation for Game 4 without forward Jeff Carter and defenseman Chris Pronger. Carter returned to the lineup in Game 3 after suffering a knee injury in the first round against the Sabres. He played a total of 16 minutes against the Bruins. Pronger remains out with an undisclosed injury.
Philadelphia has struggled with its goaltending this series, but Flyers coach Peter Laviolette isn't about to point any fingers at Brian Boucher or Sergei Bobrovsky. As far as Game 4, Laviolette was vague when asked who would be starting.
"We haven't announced anything, yet," said Laviolette. "For the most part, I haven't announced it until the day of."
The Flyers also aren't about to lay blame on the goaltending for their 3-0 deficit in this series.
"It is a team game," Carter said. "There are a lot of guys out there on the ice. Sometimes we have been hanging our goalie out to dry here. The guys on the ice have to take a lot of the blame."
