Blues keep coaching staff intact

The St. Louis Blues announced they have extended the contracts of four of their assistant coaches: Brad Shaw, Ray Bennett, Corey Hirsch and Scott Masters.

St. Louis finished the season in 11th place in the West with a 38-33-11 record after injuries to T.J. Oshie and David Perron destroyed a promising season.

"We are pleased to have our entire coaching staff back to maintain the continuity of our hockey team," Blues head coach Davis Payne said in a statement released by the team. "They are a dedicated staff that handle their responsibilities well and work extremely well with our players."

This will be Shaw's fifth season and Bennett's fourth full season as assistants with the Blues. Hirsch, a goaltending consultant, is entering his second season with the organization, and Masters is entering his sixth season as the video coach.
