Williams out with fractured right fibula

The injury woes just keep mounting for the Detroit Red Wings.

Already without Johan Franzen and Valtteri Filppula, the Wings lost forward Jason Williams during Saturday's 5-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs with a fractured right fibula.

The winger fell awkwardly while scrambling for the puck along the end boards. It's not yet known if he will need surgery.

Williams had two goals and five assists in 14 games after being signed by the Red Wings in the offseason.
