Here are the guys who stood out the most in Notre Dame's 31-24 win Saturday night at Purdue.
Cam McDaniel, RB: McDaniel was a very valuable piece of the offense Saturday, carrying the ball 10 times on Notre Dame's final drive to help run out the clock and ice the game. The junior finished the night with 56 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries.
DaVaris Daniels, WR: The redshirt sophomore is only getting better. Daniels turned in another two-touchdown performance, finishing the night with eight catches for 167 yards. Both scores came in the fourth quarter, including an 82-yarder in which he fought off talented Purdue corner Ricardo Allen much of the way after making the catch.
Bennett Jackson, CB: The defensive captain made the game-changing play his unit needed, stepping in to snatch a pick and bring it back 34 yards for the score. Notre Dame has forced just two turnovers through three games, but both have been pick-sixes. (Stephon Tuitt at Michigan is the other.)
