My Top 25, Heisman votes

Florida State may have risen to No. 2 in the BCS standings this week, but the Seminoles could only climb as high as No. 3 on ESPN.com's Power Rankings, which again are led by Alabama and Oregon.

But if FSU fails to reach the BCS title game, could it get Notre Dame a year early? That's what our Brad Edwards says right now, as his updated bowl projections have the Irish returning to Sun Life Stadium to face the 'Noles in the Discover Orange Bowl. Edwards earlier projections Sunday, along with Mark Schlabach's, both had Notre Dame bound for the New Era Pinstripe Bowl, against Rutgers.

As for the Heisman Watch, Marcus Mariota remains the front-runner ... barely, as Jameis Winston's signature performance at Clemson has the redshirt freshman inching ever closer to the head of the pack.

Here is how I voted in this week's Power Rankings and in Heisman Watch. (Of note: I do not have a vote in the Associated Press poll or a vote for the Heisman Trophy.)
