Athlete James Onwualu (St. Paul, Minn./Cretin-Derham) committed Wednesday to Notre Dame, giving the Irish their third commitment for the Class of 2013.
“I just got a feeling,” the 6-foot-1, 200-pound junior told our Jared Shanker. “I had a chance to think about it a lot. I went [to Notre Dame] on a retreat with school and felt great about the whole thing.”
Onwualu joins offensive lineman Steve Elmer and tight end/defensive end Jacob Matuska as Notre Dame's current Class of 2013 commitments. He comes from the same high school as record-breaking receiver Michael Floyd.
