Adam Breneman (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff), arguably the nation's top tight end prospect, verbally committed to Penn State on Friday, choosing the Nittany Lions over Notre Dame, Ohio State and Maryland.
"It was the best fit for me and everything I was looking for," Breneman said. "I get along with the player. The coaches are great. Coach (Bill) O'Brien knows how to use the tight end, develop the tight end."
The decision was not all that surprising, given new Lions coach O'Brien's NFL track record with tight ends and the the fact the 6-foot-5, 225-pound Breneman grew up a Penn State fan.
