Did a bye do the Raiders' O-line good?

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- The Oakland Raiders returned from their bye weekend, and their battered offensive line did not seem to benefit from the time off.

At least, not on first impression.

Center Stefen Wisniewski, who had missed the previous two games with a sprained right knee, was working out on the side with linebacker Miles Burris, who is on the PUP list with a knee, and a trainer. But there was no sign of the other injured offensive linemen.

Center/left guard Andre Gurode (knee), right tackle Tony Pashos (groin/hip) and left tackle Menelik Watson (calf) were nowhere to be seen during the open media window of practice. Nor was left tackle Jared Veldheer, who is on the reserve/injured -- designated to return list after undergoing surgery on his left triceps in camp.

The Raiders did, though, re-sign guard Jason Foster to the practice squad.

There should be further updates later when coach Dennis Allen addresses the media after practice.
