Terrelle Pryor participating in practice

ALAMEDA, Calif. -- Oakland Raiders quarterback Terrelle Pryor was on the field, helmet on, during the media window of the noncontact practice Friday afternoon. He appeared sharp in individual drills and shared reps with Matt Flynn as the team prepared for Sunday’s home game against the Washington Redskins.

Pryor, who suffered a concussion late in the Raiders’ 37-21 loss at Denver Monday night, was not wearing a helmet at the start of practice on Thursday, though coach Dennis Allen said later that Pryor did put on a helmet and had several reps in that practice.

Allen, though, also said he did not anticipate announcing a starter for the Washington game.

The Raiders’ injury and status report will be announced following practice.
