#ThrowbackThursday Raiders pics

It's #ThrowbackThursday time again, #Raiders style. As such, I've dug back into my archives to find pictures I shot at Los Angeles Raiders games in the late 1980s, early 1990s, before they returned to their ancestral home as the Oakland Raiders. I've tweeted them out on my timeline -- @PGutierrezESPN -- but they can also live here. Enjoy ...

Here, Bo Jackson takes the handoff from Steve Beuerlein against the Denver Broncos in a game the Raiders would win in overtime, 16-13, on Dec. 3, 1989.

In this black and white picture, also from the OT victory over the Broncos on Dec. 3, 1989 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Bo Jackson again takes the handoff but heads the other way. Jackson finished with 44 yards on 14 carries.

Marcus Allen tried to go over the pile against the Chicago Bears on Sept. 30, 1990. Not sure if he scored on this play, but Allen did score two TDs and rush for 57 yards on 12 carries in the Raiders' 24-10 defeat of the Jim Harbaugh-led Bears as the Raiders improved to 4-0 en route to a 12-4 season and AFC championship game appearance.

This pic was about a month after Magic Johnson announced he had attained the HIV virus. He was as popular as ever on the Raiders sidelines in December of 1991.

Yeah, the Raiders' sidelines were the place to be for a playoff game. MC Hammer at his zenith and some Raiderettes pose after the Raiders dispatched of the Cincinnati Bengals on Jan. 13, 1991. Please, Hammer, don't hurt 'em. Oh, and it was Bo Jackson's last game.
