Duo of Altuve and Correa is powerful one for Houston

Last year, Puerto Rico's Carlos Correa, who plays for the Houston Astros, won the AL Rookie of the Year award. This year, his teammate, Venezuelan Jose Altuve, is in the running for the MVP award.

The teammates are more than a solid defensive combo in the infield, however. They also pack a power-hitting punch that hasn't been seen in MLB in quite a while. Over fifty years, in fact.

The Astros are in a tight race for a playoff wildcard spot and will need their dynamic duo, as well as the whole team, to perform at their best in upcoming games.
