Here's a look at what the Pac-10's top Heisman Trophy candidates did over the weekend. And, yes, the list continues to narrow, though it also might grow over the coming weeks.
Andrew Luck, QB, Stanford: Luck completed 19 of 32 passes for 238 yards with a TD in the win over Notre Dame, but he also threw his first two interceptions of the year. He also rushed for 23 yards on four carries. He ranks 11th in the nation in passing efficiency.
LaMichael James, RB, Oregon: James rushed for 114 yards on 28 carries vs. Arizona State, including a 40-yard TD scamper. He's averaging 8.19 yards per carry and ranks second in the nation with 158.3 yards rushing per game.
Nick Foles, QB, Arizona: Foles completed 25 of 39 passes for 212 yards with a TD and an interception in the win over California. It's a mark in his favor, though, that he led a game-winning TD drive for the second time in two weekends. He ranks 25th in the nation in passing efficiency.
