Pac-10 Heisman update: Week 6

Here's a look at what the Pac-10's top Heisman Trophy candidates did over the weekend.

LaMichael James, RB, Oregon: A blockbuster performance by James against Stanford transformed him from a dark-horse candidate to a short-list candidate. James rushed for 257 yards and three touchdowns on 31 carries, including a 76-yarder up the middle. He had no negative plays. He's presently second in the nation with 178 yards rushing per game. He figures to gain a few more yards on Saturday against a struggling Washington State run defense.
