Arizona just jumped ahead 14-0 on Washington State, but the bigger issue is QB Nick Foles' right knee.
Foles is sitting on the bench with an ice bag on his knee. He's not up and throwing. That suggests the trainers aren't terribly interested in testing the knee for a return later.
Matt Scott is a capable backup -- recall that he won the starting job over Foles in 2009 before Foles took over after the early loss at Iowa.
The Wildcats seem in control early. So, this might not be an issue now.
The larger issue is if this is a short-term or long-term deal with Foles' knee.
The Wildcat play host to Washington next weekend. They visit UCLA on Oct. 30.
Big issue: at Stanford on Nov. 6.
