Utah's defense dominated Pittsburgh on Saturday in a 26-14 victory -- the Panthers had no offensive scores -- and senior end Derrick Shelby was a big reason why. His efforts earned him defensive player of the week honors from the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
Shelby had a team-high seven tackles (six solo), including 2.5 for losses and 1.5 quarterback sacks. He also intercepted a pass and returned it 21 yards for a touchdown.
With the win, Utah improved to 3-3 on the season and will visit California on Saturday.
