18. Syd'Quan Thompson, CB, California (8): Thompson earned first-team All-Pac-10 honors after posting 49 tackles -- four for a loss -- with an interception and 10 pass breakups. His fall from his high preseason ranking is mostly guilt by association: The Bears secondary, so productive in 2008, slipped badly in 2009 despite welcoming back all four starters.

19. Keaton Kristick, LB, Oregon State (28): The first-team All-Pac-10 linebacker was the leader of a rebuilding defense in 2009. He led the Beavers with 95 tackles, with 7.5 coming for a loss. He also grabbed two interceptions and forced a fumble.

20. Nick Foles, QB, Arizona (NR)

21. Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, DE, Washington (23)
