While our NFL pipeline package only features the top 16 programs, there were some interesting results for teams that didn't make the "Sweet 16."
We already noted that USC was No. 1, UCLA No. 7 and Arizona State 14th, according to our points system.
California finished 20th, just ahead of Auburn and LSU. Stanford tied for 32nd with Virginia.
The Pac-10 also fared well in recent years. From 2000-2009, USC ranked seventh, Oregon State eighth, California 19th, Arizona State 25th and Arizona 29th.
The Beavers were tied for eighth with TCU, Texas A&M and Georgia. The Wildcats were tied for 29th with Auburn and Wisconsin.
Some of you may find some of these numbers handy at cocktail parties. Or, perhaps, in the comments section.
