UCLA's visit to Oregon State is a battle of teams with a combined 1-4 record, but that doesn't mean there isn't intrigue.
And while the Bruins have the whole "coaching hot seat" thing with Rick Neuheisel, there's actually more going on with Oregon State.
In advance, apologies if we miss something.
While coach Mike Riley is still awaiting final word from an out-of-town doctor, WR James Rodgers is expected to play against the Bruins. Rodgers suffered a serious knee injury at Arizona on Oct. 9, 2010, one that required two surgical procedures.
Starting DT Castro Masaniai will serve his one-game suspension this weekend, which he received after an off-field incident.
TE Joe Halahuni will make his season debut after a shoulder injury kept him out of the first two games.
Riley seems less than encouraged about the status of DT Dominic Glover, who's yet to play because of academic issues.
RB Malcolm Agnew (hamstring) is doubtful to play Saturday.
OG Josh Andrews (knee) is out. Grant Enger will replace him on the left side.
Stay tuned. There might be more, including final words on Rodgers and Glover.
