USC recruiting is rolling

National signing day is months away, but it's not hard to predict that USC is on its way to the best recruiting class in the Pac-12, if not the nation.

Scholarship reductions? Lane Kiffin and Co. are blowing a raspberry across the country at the NCAA.

On Wednesday, the Trojans got three commitments from prospects that just about everybody wanted: offensive linemen Khaliel Rodgers (Elkton, Md./Eastern Christian Academy) and Nico Falah (Bellflower, Calif./St. John Bosco) and defensive tackle Eddie Vanderdoes (Auburn, Calif./Placer).

The Trojans now have 14 oral commitments, and each merits four stars from ESPN recruiting. They can sign as many as 18 players, but three must enroll early in order to count against the 2012 class. Officially, USC can sign only 15 players for this year and next.

With two offensive linemen committed, the Trojans are likely done with that position.
