Poll: Top Pac-12 media day question

It's Pac-12 media week, so what do you think are the biggest questions for the conference coaches this week?

On Wednesday, we looked at the top questions for the North Division. On Thursday, it's the South.

There are plenty of questions for South coaches, just like the North.

Starting in Tucson, Arizona has a quarterback competition that yielded few hints during spring practices. While B.J. Denker has limited experience and was the best healthy quarterback, USC transfer Jesse Scroggins was mostly sidelined with a foot injury. He'll join the preseason competition, as will touted true freshman Anu Solomon.

Colorado has a new coach in Mike MacIntyre, and he faces a major rebuilding project. The first step isn't getting to a bowl game. The big question with the Buffaloes this fall is will they at least be competitive in conference play?

While UCLA has a number of questions, it again looks like a South front-runner. So forget personnel: Have the Bruins eclipsed rival USC in Los Angeles?

Speaking of the Trojans, they have their own quarterback competition. Max Wittek saw action last year, and he has a big arm and NFL body. Cody Kessler played better in the spring, but he's more of a scrapper. There's also promising true freshman Max Browne.

Finally, perhaps the most interesting hire in the conference, non-head-coach division, was Kyle Whittingham bringing in former Arizona State coach Dennis Erickson to run his offense with Brian Johnson. Can Erickson transform that offense to Pac-12 quality?
