We're looking at some of the top individual performances in the Pac-12 in 2013.
Up next: Ka'Doomed!
Who and against whom: Arizona RB Ka'Deem Carey was relentless attacking Oregon's defense in a shocking 42-16 Wildcats victory.
The numbers: Carey had 48 carries for 206 yards with four touchdowns.
A closer look: There were five 200-yard rushing performances this year by Pac-12 running backs, but this was the only one against a team that finished with a winning record. Workhorse? Carey's 48 carries were the most by a Pac-12 running back this year. His four rushing TDs tied for the most in a conference game this year. This wasn't about a couple of big plays -- his longest run was just 20 yards -- or about piling on at the end of the game. Carey had 97 yards at halftime. This was about just hitting a defense over and over again. While there's a perception that Oregon's run defense was exposed by Stanford, the Ducks defense entered this game ranked second in the conference in yards per rush allowed (3.5) and finished the season third (3.8). The Ducks had a good run defense. They knew Carey was coming. It didn't matter. Carey imposed his will. It was the best performance by a Pac-12 running back in 2013.
