McCoy on Sproles: 'Another big playmaker'

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy has been anything but shy when it has come to interview requests this offseason.

With training camp less than 10 days away, here's one more topic McCoy addressed: new teammate Darren Sproles.

Sproles -- who was recently acquired from the New Orleans Saints -- will team up with McCoy to be one of the most talented running back duos in the NFL.

How good is Sproles?

"Sproles has the quickest feet I've ever seen out of any player," McCoy told the NFL Network's Rich Eisen. "He'll help us out tremendously. I think the best thing about him, what he brings to this team is not only leadership and experience, but also just another big playmaker on the team. You talk about losing DeSean [Jackson]yea, but I think Howie [Roseman] and Chip [Kelly] did a great job of bringing another playmaker to our team."

McCoy led the league with 1,607 yards last season. Sproles will make McCoy even harder to shut down.

"With me and him in the backfield together it will definitely cause an issue with the defense," McCoy said.
