PHILADELPHIA -- The Philadelphia Eagles made several roster moves Friday.
The Eagles also added defensive end Alfy Hill. The 6-foot-4, 283-pound Hill was originally set to play college football at Alabama. After being declared academically ineligible because of a technicality, Hill attended Winston-Salem State University. He was not selected in this year’s draft.
To make room, the Eagles waived two players with injuries. Linebacker Brandon Hepburn (abdominal muscle) and defensive end B.J. McBryde (foot) were placed on waivers.
Skinner, 24, started one game and played in a total of seven games as an undrafted rookie with the Patriots last season. He was released during the season and signed to New England’s practice squad.
The Patriots released Skinner in May.
Hill had a tryout with the Arizona Cardinals this year.
