Remember the Houston Astros' "Tequila Sunrise" uniform design, with its odd color-step gradation? That look, or at least a little piece of it, is coming to the football field.
That's the news out of the University of Arizona, where the Wildcats have just unveiled their new football uniforms. It's a fairly straightforward design, except that the uniform numbers and sleeves have a color-step gradation just like the Astros used to have (but in less garish tones).
But the Wildcats will have something the Astros didn't: a slew of headwear options. The new Arizona wardrobe will include red, navy, white, and copper helmets.
