STONEHAM, Quebec -- American star Lindsey Jacobellis skied
to her fourth World Cup snowboarding victory of the season Friday
night, winning the snowboardcross event.
"It felt great to win another World Cup. This course was very
short so you had to get your passing done and get out in front
really quickly because you could run out of track to make any
passes," Jacobellis said. "I felt really good going into this
contest. I'm feeling really confident."
Jacobellis extended her lead in the overall World Cup standings
and moved within 150 points of snowboardcross leader Maelle Ricker,
the Canadian who finished second Friday, in the SBX World Cup.
World Cup snowboardcross leader Pierre Vaultier won the men's
competition, leading a French sweep of the first three spots.
Paul-Henri Delerue was second, followed by Vincent Valery.
