Pats, Bears dominate 'Madden' season sim

Can a video game predict the future?

EA Sports keeps trying to prove its point, successfully simulating Super Bowl after Super Bowl thanks to the “Madden” simulation engine.

And while its latest simulation takes us through only the end of the NFL regular season, the game predicts some great things for fans in New England and Chicago.

In fact, Tom Brady puts up one of the best statistical seasons in quarterback history en route to the NFL MVP, throwing 50 touchdowns and only eight interceptions, helping the Pats secure the No. 1 seed in the AFC with a 12-4 record.

Meanwhile, in the NFC, the Bears also finish 12-4, matching the Packers win for win while also earning the all-important tiebreaker to take the No. 1 seed in their division.
