Ohio State band celebrates video games

I was once in a band, and I never did anything quite as cool as The Ohio State Marching Band did during its halftime performance on Saturday. As a matter of fact, what I remember most was playing the snare drum to "Da Doo Ron Ron."

"The Best Damn Band in the Land" took on "Tetris," "Pac-Man," "Halo," "Super Mario" and more in an epic presentation in its tribute to video games old and new.

This video kind of speaks for itself. Sports tech FTW!

Even if you aren't a fan of the Buckeyes, you have to admit this was one halftime performance that was worth staying in your seat for. Perhaps it even helped inspire the football team as Ohio State went on to beat Nebraska 63-38.

Your move, Michigan Marching Band.
