Olympian Jake Dalton talks gymnastics tour

U.S. Olympic gymnast Jake Dalton and his male gymnastic buddies will try to dance to LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem" on Saturday night at the Kellogg's Tour of Gymnastic Champions at the XL Center in Hartford, Conn.

"I'm not a good dancer, but I try," said the 21-year-old Dalton, who was a member of the University of Oklahoma gymnastics team before joining the U.S. national team. "I don't really have the moves."

The crowd won't care when the buff dudes decide to take their shirts off.

"We hopefully will blind them with that!" said Dalton about the biggest cheer of the night. "We're out there to have fun!"

The national tour features Team USA’s top performing gymnasts following the 2012 Olympic Games in London. Nastia Liukin will lead the cast that will include members of the men’s and women’s 2011 World Championships and 2012 Olympic teams, along with past Olympians and U.S. medalists in men’s, women’s, rhythmic and acrobatic gymnastics and trampoline and tumbling.

Along with Liukin and Dalton, the other competitors include 2012 Olympic gold medalists Gabby Douglas, Aly Raisman, Jordyn Wieber, Kyla Ross and McKayla Maroney.

So expect lots of cheers from the crowd -- especially when the guys disrobe.

"Clothes kind of get in the way when we're trying to do our moves," Dalton said. "It's not like we're the Chippendales. It gets kind of dangerous if your clothes block our view while we're doing these stunts!"
