Donald Driver, the only athlete remaining on ABC's "Dancing with the Stars," was rocked by the news last week that retired linebacker Junior Seau committed suicide.

“I thought of his family. My prayers go out to them," said Driver, who has been on the West Coast for the past two months on the elimination dancing show. "Everyone, including myself, will miss him very much.”

And that got Driver thinking about his own situation.

“My family and my relationship with the Lord are the two most important things in my life," said Driver, who is married with several children. "Remember to tell your loved ones how you feel about them every day because tomorrow is never promised."

Driver and partner Peta Murgatroyd on Monday's live show will dance the jive as one of six remaining couples in Season 14.

So each week matters. And friends are being eliminated.

“The relationships I’ve developed while on the show are truly special," Driver said. "I’ve made some life-long friends through 'DWTS.' All 12 cast members share a special bond that will stay with us forever and ever.”
