NFL practices are underway, in the form of organized team activities. And with them, a series of newcomers will make their way to pro football fields for the first time.

So what do young NFL hopefuls want when they search for gear? Eastbay asked more than 90 prospects at the NFL combine this past spring -- including first-round picks Dontari Poe (Kansas City Chiefs) and Kevin Zeitler (Cincinnati Bengals); second-rounders Janoris Jenkins (St. Louis Rams), Cordy Glenn (Buffalo Bills), Ryan Broyles (Detroit Lions) and Mike Adams (Pittsburgh Steelers); and other notable names such as Kirk Cousins (Washington Redskins) and Nick Toon (New Orleans Saints) -- and found one consistent answer above all others: style.

Check out the graphic below for the results of their survey. Many of the player interviews -- with former Wisconsin and Philadelphia Eagles/Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Cecil Martin -- can be seen via Eastbay Edge's video series.
