Tropical Storm Debby continues to slog its way across Northern and Central Florida. Fishing has become a bit easier in some parts:
The infamous 17th hole as TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach was a bit unplayable. The course was actually closed for irrigation this week and Mother Nature got the job done. In this case, the heavy stuff came down for quite a while after this video was shot.
Don't try this one at home. A kite surfer in St. Petersburg made this windy leap over a pier. The surfer, who has been identified as Billy Parker by YouTube users, cleared the pier at Reddington Beach on June 24.
Baseball fields across the state are in various conditions, depending on location. McKechnie Field in Bradenton, originally built in 1923, seems to be holding up pretty well. The Marauders not so much, losing at Dunedin 12-3 Tuesday night.
With Portugal and Spain preparing to face-off Wednesday in the first Euro 2012 semifinal, the members of England's team have headed off to various parts of the globe. Wayne Rooney and Ashley Cole were spotted in Los Angeles in the wake of criticism following England's exit against Italy in Euro 2012 play. As far as a prediction for today goes, it's a tough call, especially when you literally know the players involved:
