ESPN Major League Baseball analyst Aaron Boone has joined Jared the Subway Guy in Los Angeles today as coaches for an exhibition game for local Challenger Division Little Leaguers.

"I'm fired up about this opportunity to work with children," said Boone, who played 12 seasons of Major League Baseball. "I get to share a couple of hours with them at a game I love and a game I know they love."

The Challenger Division of Little League is a program for developmentally and physically challenged youth. Each player on a Challenger Division team has a Buddy -- a special person who is in charge of supporting and helping their teammate play the game to the best of his or her ability.

"I've been blessed in so many areas of my life, and this is an opportunity to give back," Boone said. "When these things arise, I think it's important to do good with your life."
