Aly Raisman was on top of the world Wednesday, the day after her gold-medal performance in the Olympic floor exercise:

Raisman danced her way to her second gold medal after grabbing bronze on the balance beam:

And definitely felt the beat:

Australian Sally Pearson won the women's 100-meter hurdles, while Americans Dawn Harper and Kellie Wells took the silver and bronze, respectively.

Harper and Wells were critical of the attention given to Lolo Jones, who finished fourth, during an interview on NBC Sports Channel Wednesday. The medals will be awarded this evening. Wells told Michele Beadle that "the three girls on the podium " who earned their medals "did what they needed to do to and prevailed ... that's all that's needed to be said." Jones, who broke down in tears during an earlier interview on the "Today" show Wednesday, had a tough night following her out-of-the-medals finish -- and found plenty of supporters and detractors on Twitter:

It will be an all-American final in women’s beach volleyball:

But there was plenty of time for horsing around before Wednesday's gold-medal match:
