About to do cartwheels in therapy today because college football starts tonight

College football is back. Not surprisingly, it was a trending topic Thursday on Twitter.
After 233 days at sea, we have sighted land.

How long has it been? Guess that remains a matter of perspective:
I've been waiting 234 days to say this- College Football is back! Let's go!

If you count the Senior Bowl, it's been only 215 days.

There are plenty of apt analogies that apply as college football season begins tonight with 15 games on the schedule. The Texas A&M-Louisiana Tech game has been re-scheduled for Oct. 13 due to now-Tropical Storm Isaac. The football drought officially ends with a 7 p.m. ET kickoff for five games -- including the SEC showdown between South Carolina and host Vanderbilt on ESPN.
College football has officially started!! :)

The Tigers -- along with residents across Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi -- continue to weather the ongoing downpours and heavy winds from Isaac. LSU is scheduled to host North Texas Saturday night.

It's a bigger deal in some parts of the country:

For at least this Penn State senior cornerback, the focus will shift to the field Saturday at noon when the Lions kick off at home against Ohio University:
Let's show the world. Why we are the greatest show in college football.
