Danny Trejo on 'Death Race,' prison boxing

Danny Trejo may not be a household name, but anyone who’s seen his unmistakable face on the big screen isn't likely to forget him. Arguably best-known for his roles in cult classics like "Desperado," "Con Air" and "Machete," the veteran character actor has stared down and intimidated some of the world's most famous actors.

Hot on the heels of his return as Goldberg in "Death Race 3: Inferno" (available on Blu-ray and DVD on January 22), Trejo is set up for a big 2013, with starring roles in the "Machete" sequel, "Machete Kills," and "In the Blood," alongside ex-MMA star Gina Carano.

See the video above to watch Trejo's recent chat with ESPN Playbook on everything from doing hard time in San Quentin, his childhood love of tennis great Richard “Pancho” Gonzales and his stable of classic cars.
