Aug. 14, 2007: It was but five years ago today when a long-standing Major League Baseball record fell -- managerial ejections -- as the Atlanta Braves' Bobby Cox got tossed by umpire Ted Barrett, the skipper's 132nd dismissal. The previous record holder was John McGraw, whose 131 ejections came from the 1890s through the 1930s.
Said Cox, in his typically jovial manner: "It means nothing. It just means I've been around for a long time. That's all."
