SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Here is a look at what the San Francisco 49ers must do and can't do Sunday at Tampa Bay:
Must happen: The 49ers must fluster rookie quarterback Mike Glennon. He has actually been pretty good and the Buccaneers have been respectable in recent weeks. But this is one of the toughest defenses Glennon will have faced in his young NFL career. The 49ers must impose their will and force Glennon into making rookie mistakes.
Can't happen: The 49ers can’t turn the ball over multiple times. That is the best way to allow an inferior opponent to pull off an upset, especially when they are at home. If the 49ers play a clean game offensively, they should win. But if quarterback Colin Kaepernick and his teammates get sloppy, it could give Tampa Bay a chance to stick around.
