No major issues on Seahawks injury report

RENTON, Wash. -- Four players did not participate in practice for the Seattle Seahawks Wednesday: receivers Percy Harvin and Golden Tate, linebacker Bruce Irvin and running back Marshawn Lynch.

Lynch is not injured, but it’s not unusual for him to miss practice on Wednesday, especially after a Monday night game. Seattle coach Pete Carroll said Tate (a hip bruise) and Irvin (a thigh bruise) were banged up against the Saints Monday night, but both are expected to play Sunday at San Francisco.

Harvin's status remains day-to-day with soreness in his surgically-repaired hip.

Cornerback Brandon Browner returned to practice on a limited basis after missing the last two games with a groin injury, but his playing status depends on the outcome of his appeal from a possible one-year suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Tight end Kellen Davis, who strained his neck Monday night, was a full participant in practice Wednesday.
