Seahawks cuts in high demand

RENTON, Wash. -- This little item about the Seattle Seahawks will give you some indication of how deep the roster is for this team.

Eleven players who came to training camp with the Seahawks, but were released or traded, are on active rosters for other teams.

Three of them will be at CenturyLink Field this weekend for the Jacksonville Jaguars -- defensive backs Will Blackmon and Winston Guy, and linebacker Kyle Knox.

One was in Seattle last weekend -- fourth-round draft pick Chris Harper, a wide receiver from Kansas State who was signed by the San Francisco 49ers, but was inactive last week.

Three others are playing for the Kansas City Chiefs -- defensive lineman Jaye Howard, tight end Sean McGrath and defensive back Ron Parker.

The other four are quarterback Brady Quinn (New York Jets), offensive lineman Mike Person (St. Louis Rams), guard John Moffitt (Denver Broncos) and linebacker Allen Bradford (New York Giants).
