Sound-Off Saturday: Bowie or Britt?

RENTON, Wash. -- This week's Sound-Off Saturday is a simple one with only two choices.

Seattle Seahawks offensive line coach Tom Cable said earlier this week that "it's on" in the battle to see who gets the starting job at right tackle between second-year player Michael Bowie and rookie Justin Britt.

One of them will replace Breno Giacomini, who signed with the New York Jets as a free agent.

Bowie (6-foot-4, 330 pounds) was a seventh-round draft choice in 2013 out of Northeastern State in Oklahoma. He transferred from Oklahoma State before his senior season. Bowie received a bit of a baptism by fire last season when he had to come in and start eight games while Giacomini was out with a knee injury.

Britt (6-foot-6, 325 pounds) was a second-round draft choice by the Seahawks in May. Britt was a three-year starter for Missouri, playing left tackle his senior year. He also was 45-0 as a high school wrestler.

Cable said Bowie and Britt will fight it out through the preseason before the Seahawks make a decision on which man starts. But if you had to pick today, which player would you select and why, and do you think the starter will play as well, or better, than Giacomini?

I'll post the results on Monday.
