Welcome to a true media circus

It's onto FedEx BCS National Championship Game media day at Dolphin Stadium, which will be hosting its third game in eight days on Thursday night when Florida and Oklahoma clash for college football's top prize.

The Baltimore Ravens and Miami Dolphins played in Dolphin Stadium on Sunday in the AFC playoffs. The stadium is actually in Miami Gardens, whereas most of the other press conferences are being held at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa in Fort Lauderdale.

Oklahoma's session begins at 9:30 a.m. and Florida's at 10:30 a.m.

It will be interesting to see if Percy Harvin is available to the media. He hasn't been to this point since arriving in South Florida, but all players are "supposed" to be available as part of the media day festivities.

I'm also looking forward to catching up with Dan Mullen, who will call offensive plays for the Gators one final time before taking off for Mississippi State. It has been a whirlwind last few weeks for Mullen, who's been wearing two different hats at the same time.

And, yes, I'm sure there will be the usual array of stupid and bizarre questions that we in the media seem to come up with at these events. I'll try to jot down a few and share them with you.

So check back later Monday, and I'll have a full report from Florida's session here in sunny South Florida.

By the way, it's supposed to be around 77 with a light breeze.
