COLUMBIA, S.C. -- I had a chance to speak with a few Georgia officials prior to kickoff, and they expect to have an answer on the A.J. Green appeal by the middle of next week.
They aren't overly optimistic that Green will get any relief from his four-game suspension. But they're holding out hope that he will at least get one game back.
Georgia returns home next week to face Arkansas and then goes on the road Sept. 25 to face Mississippi State. Without any relief, Green's first game back would be at Colorado on Oct. 2.
