Florida coach Urban Meyer said getting a healthy Jeff Demps back would make a difference.
He was hopeful getting Chris Rainey back -- period -- would make a difference.
He was right on both fronts.
For the first time in a while, Florida's offense showed some of its old punch, and the Gators took a 21-7 lead over Georgia into halftime.
Demps, who's been plagued by a foot problem, caught a 40-yard pass to set up a touchdown. He also scored a touchdown, while Rainey has a 20-yard touchdown run.
Rainey, following his arrest on stalking charges, hadn't played since the South Florida game the second week of the season.
Plugging two playmakers that explosive back into the lineup has clearly made a big difference for a Florida offense looking for any kind of spark.
