Since the start of the 2006 season, the SEC is 226-50 (81.9 percent). The Big 12 is second with a 198-74 record (72.8 percent).
In bowl games only, the SEC is 28-14 (.667) over the last five years, which goes back to the 2005 bowl season.
The SEC was 6-4 in bowl games last season. The Mountain West Conference had best bowl run a year ago with a 4-1 record. The Big East was second with a 4-2 mark.
