South Carolina's 2011 signing class is at 30-plus players and counting, but the one Gamecocks fans are eagerly awaiting won't make up his mind until Valentine's Day.
The Gamecocks are believed to be the leader for defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who's the No. 1 overall prospect in the country. The Rock Hill, S.C., product also has Alabama and Clemson on his list. He's waiting until his birthday to decide, which falls on Valentine's Day.
One player South Carolina did add on Wednesday was linebacker Cedrick Cooper of Lithonia, Ga. Cooper chose South Carolina over Ole Miss and Arkansas.
The Gamecocks really helped themselves on the offensive and defensive lines with the likes of defensive tackles Phillip Dukes, Gerald Dixon and Kelcy Quarles and offensive tackle Brandon Shell. What's more, all four are from the state of South Carolina.
