ATHENS, Ga. -- OK, Isaiah Crowell is only a freshman, and he's going to make mistakes.
But here's betting he makes a lot more than he gives up.
What a weird game. Georgia has been in control much of the way and has really outplayed South Carolina, but the Gamecocks lead 28-20 at the end of the third quarter thanks to four plays.
One of those being Crowell's fumble where he simply lost the ball on the handoff, and Stephon Gilmore picked it up for the Gamecocks and raced 56 yards to set up Stephen Garcia's touchdown run.
Then Georgia quarterback Aaron Murray comes back and is picked off by Antonio Allen, who returned it 25 yards for a touchdown.
We really find out what this Georgia bunch is made of now, because the Bulldogs have been their own worst enemy today.
Here's the other thing: This stadium has gone quiet.
