Suspended LSU players not on sideline

BATON ROUGE, La. -- The three suspended LSU players are not on the field during pregame warm-ups and are not expected to be on the sideline during the game.

Sources reconfirmed to ESPN.com earlier reports that running back Spencer Ware and cornerbacks Tyrann Mathieu and Tharold Simon were suspended after testing positive for synthetic marijuana.

During warm-ups Saturday, the first defense to go out there for LSU included Morris Claiborne and Ron Brooks at the two cornerbacks and Brandon Taylor and Eric Reid at the two safeties. Mathieu was the Tigers' nickelback when they went to five defensive backs, so it will be interesting to see who fills that role for LSU against Auburn.
