Auburn's defense comes alive

Auburn needed a big play from its defense ... and got one.

Defensive tackle Jake Ricks intercepted Jarrett Brown's tipped middle screen pass and rambled 21 yards down to the West Virginia 19.

From there, Chris Todd threw his fourth touchdown pass of the night and third to Darvin Adams, a 17-yarder, to put the Tigers ahead 34-30 in the fourth quarter.

Auburn's defense hasn't played its best football. But Ricks couldn't have picked better timing to come up with the biggest defensive play of the night.
