Recruits will be watching title game

It's no secret that LSU and Alabama are two of the top teams when it comes to recruiting, and their commits and targets will be watching tonight's AllState BCS National Championship Game with a little more than a rooting interest.

The Crimson Tide sit at No. 1 in class rankings after beating LSU in a bitter battle for five-star safety, Landon Collins, the Geismar (La.) Dutchtown star who lives a short drive from Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge.

Both programs are just about done with their respective recruiting classes. But there will be plenty of impressionable eyes focused on this game.
