ATHENS, Ga. -- It’s not a revelation that Georgia sophomore receiver A.J. Green is one of the most explosive players in the league.
But what’s separated him this season is his ability to gain yards after the catch, which is what LSU will try and prevent Saturday. Green has been able to shed the first tackler eight times in 18 chances this season and gain extra yards.
Of his 18 catches with a chance to advance after the catch, he’s had 142 yards after the catch and 53 yards after contact.
